Professional experience: With over 26 years of experience as an independent advisor and consultant, I am a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants and a Certified Financial Planner committed to helping a diverse range of clients, from individuals to businesses, achieve their personal and financial objectives. My expertise encompasses various financial disciplines, including investment planning, retirement strategies, and tax optimisation. I find great satisfaction in witnessing the moment clients realise they have successfully met their financial goals. Personal: My personal accomplishments, including reaching Everest Base Camp, summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, and completing the Annapurna Base Camp trek, are just a few examples of the challenges I have successfully navigated. Leading these expeditions has honed my ability to focus and effectively address complex client situations. One of the most challenging aspects of my journey has been confronting and learning from failure. I am dedicated to providing both current and prospective clients with a strategic roadmap to achieving their goals, helping them navigate challenges and ultimately reach a successful outcome.

Professional experience: With 25 years of experience, my role as a Financial Planning Analyst includes research & analysis, investment committee oversight and decision-making about investment strategies, asset allocation, and the management of investment portfolios, preparation of financial plans, client meeting support, compliance and documentation, financial data management, streamlining processes, client communication.

Hobbies and interests: Group admin for our Boottrekkers walking group, regularly organizing local and international hikes; reading, cooking and travelling.
Professional associations and memberships: A member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA institute) and the Institute of Financial Services
Personal: My personal accomplishments include a complete change of career path in my late thirties to retrain from Commodities Trading to Financial Services. As a Financial Planning Analyst, I have continued to sit (and pass!) exams into my mid- fifties. Outside of financial services, I enjoy trekking, having successfully completed Everest Base Camp, Machu Picchu, Bhutan Druk Path Trek and Mount Kilimanjaro.
When Kiran and Roshni are not working, our down time and stress relief is hiking! We run their own walking group www.boottrekkers.co.uk, train every Sunday and in addition to local UK hikes, have completed Everest Base Camp, Inca Trail, Druk Path Trek Bhutan and most recently Kilimanjaro.

Professional experience: With a background of nearly 10 years as a secondary school teacher holding leadership positions covering both pastoral and academic areas, I bring strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills into my role as a Financial Planner. Pivoting to a career in financial planning allows me to continue helping people to reach their personal goals. Alongside studying to achieve the level 6 Diploma and become a Chartered advisor, my role includes supporting clients to clarify their financial goals, undertaking research and analysis, preparing and implementing financial plans, and maintaining compliance documentation.

Personal: When not studying as part of my career change, I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring with recent trips to India, Sri Lanka and the Dolomites. Every trip brings new perspectives, which makes travelling so worthwhile.
